Our Faro Prime measurement arm working by coordinates by points continues its successful job here in Righetti.
It is a portable CMM that allows the 100% verification of the drawing dimensions for each new item, and integrates the routine check carried out on sample parts during production and final testing, which occur before delivery.
How an inspection does work
At the extremity of the anthropomorphic arm there is a probe, which on demand detects the measurement points for the parts’ inspection. By pushing a button, the operator can set a point for the calculation of the exact position in a 3D space and report it on the design saved on the connected pc. In this way any not conformity between the drawing and the executed part is easily detected.
